I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather and in a generally strange and negative headspace lately. Everything feels hard, like running through mud, including things I truly love, which is hard to understand. Like, dead inside. Let’s just call it a perpetual funk.
But to the point of this post, I DID just do something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time and it lifted my spirits tremendously. I sat down and sorted through the thousands (literally) of photos I’ve taken over the past several years, and I finally posted a photo section to emilyshirley.com. It was so much like play….I’m a little sad it’s over. But let’s just be thankful for this little window of inspiration, shall we?
