until we start recording. First up is Flowers, a tune I’ve had kicking around for a while. It’s one of the “quirkier” tunes but probably has the fewest question marks / growing-up to do thus, a good starting point. I have an original living room demo from a year or two ago, but am looking forward to pushing boundaries and ultimately finding “the sound” for this record. But for now, until Friday at least, I’m going to enjoy the blank-slateness of it all.
